MORE than 100 people have been admitted to Barnsley Hospital with Covid so far this month.
Latest figures - from October 17 - show that 104 patients have been taken into the hospital’s wards.
On October 16 there were 20 people admitted.
The new figures bring the total number of residents taken to hospital with Covid to 3,495 since the start of the pandemic.
There are currently 42 people in the hospital with coronavirus and six on ventilation beds.
