A VOLUNTEER group that helps to keep Locke Park tidy is appealing for donations to be able to keep the tower open in the future.
The Friends of Locke Park Group will be opening the tower on the first Sunday in the month between 2pm and 4pm and between 1pm and 3pm in the winter.
There will be no entry fee, but visitors are asked to make a donation to help pay for the upkeep of the tower and for further improvements of the gardens and facilities.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Because of Covid-19 restrictions numbers entering the tower will be limited.”
