HERBIE Kane joined Oxford United on loan for the rest of the season yesterday.
The 22-year-old signed for the Reds last year for a reported £1.25m but he has yet to play a Championship game for Markus Schopp’s side this season.
He started six league games for Barnsley, coming off the bench 18 times.
Barnsley are hoping to bring in a central midfielder and left-sided player before tonight’s transfer window ends.
