MORE than 170 people were admitted to Barnsley Hospital with coronavirus in July.
Figures revealed on the government’s coronavirus dashboard show that a total of 172 patients were admitted to the hospital last month - compared to just 27 in June.
Latst figures show that there are currently 58 people in Barnsley Hospital with the virus - with five on ventilation.
