BARNSLEY are set to face Cardiff City tomorrow in their Championship opener.
It’ll be Markus Schopp’s first taste of competitive football in England as the Reds manager - and he’ll be hoping to start in the same vein as his predecessor Valerien Ismael.
The Reds will kick off in the Welsh capital tomorrow at 3pm - and there’s plenty of new signings that will be looking to get their first Barnsley start.
The Tykes haven’t beaten Mick McCarthy’s side since 2016 when the Reds pipped the Bluebirds to the game in the last minute with a Ryan Williams goal in a 4-3 thriller.
In fact, Barnsley have won just two of the last 18 matches against Cardiff.
But can they put that right this weekend?
