LOCAL youngsters who are within three months of their 18th birthday are able to get their coronavirus vaccine at a drop-in centre.
Up until recently, only residents aged 18 and over were able to get their vaccination – but now Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group have said that younger people can have their jab.
A spokesperson for Barnsley CCG said: “Anyone who is within three months of their 18th birthday can now get their Covid-19 vaccine at a Barnsley walk-in venue.
“They will also be able to book an appointment online soon.”
