BARNSLEY announced their fourth summer signing earlier this week ahead of their Championship opener against Cardiff.

Belgian striker Aaron Leya Iseka has joined the Reds on a four-year contract from Toulouse for an undisclosed fee.

Iseka started his career at Belgian giants Anderlecht but never started a league game, and has played a season on loan at Marseille.

He has scored 16 goals in 110 league games, many of which have been from the bench, and has 16 caps and four goals for Belgium u21s.

Paul Conway, co-chairman of Barnsley FC, said: “Aaron is a unique and aggressive attacker with extensive experience in top flight football across the continent.

“Aaron’s quality and understanding of the game will help our squad to grow, and we are confident that he will also make his own impact on the field.

“We are excited that he has committed his long term future to Barnsley and we all welcome him to Oakwell.”
