EVEN though restrictions have lifted, council bosses want to urge residents to continue to practice behaviours to keep themselves and others safe.
Things such as hand washing, maintaining distance, and meeting friends outdoors can help prevent the spread of the virus.
Government guidance also advises that people begin to self-isolate from the day coronavirus symptoms are identified to limit person-to-person transmission.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “Keep following the safe behaviours we all have got used to over the last year to protect yourself, your loved ones and our communities.”
