OFFICERS from the Barnsley North East Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted a joint operation with traffic officers in Cudworth this week.
The operation involved checking vehicles and having conversations with drivers, to ensure that they were safe and roadworthy.
A total of 13 vehicles were checked and all were in possession of the relevant documentation and insurance.
Three drivers were given ‘words of advice’ on number plates and legal requirements, and two tickets were issued – one for a bald tyre and another for tinted windows that were above the legal limit.
