POLICE are appealing for information after a man was stabbed today on Dodworth Road.
Emergency services were called at around 8.55am this morning (July 14).
A 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman both from Barnsley were arrested on the suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: "Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and anyone who was in the location to check their dashcam footage for anything that could help the investigation.
"Anyone with information which could assist with our enquiries is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 198 of July 14."
