POOLS at a Hoyland community centre will be closed for two weeks next month.
The swimming facilities, at Your Space Hoyland, are set to be off-limits to the general public from August 9 to August 22 for ‘extensive works’.
A spokesperson said: “We will be carrying out essential works replacing filtration systems to ensure we continue to give people the very best swimming experience.
“Due to the extensive works involved in replacing such a large and complex system both pools will be closed for two weeks.
“The pools will close on August 8 and reopen on August 23.”
Other pools at Dearneside Leisure Centre, Royston Leisure Centre and the Metrodome are still available for members to swim at.
