AN 80-year-old man was taken to hospital following a collision in Monk Bretton today.
Police were called at 10.45am following reports that a car had collided with a lamp post on Burton Road.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “One person, the driver of the car, a man in his 80s, has been taken to hospital.
“Emergency services remain at the scene.”
