ALMOST 100,000 residents in Barnsley have received both doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
A total of 246,327 vaccines have been given to people across the borough to date - 151,032 of those have been first doses and 95,295 have been second doses.
Nearly three quarters of the town’s adult population have had their first dose - with a 73.9 per cent uptake.
More than 45 per cent are now fully vaccinated against the virus - with a 46.6 per cent uptake.
