FOUR new flats - which will be situated within one block - are set to be built in Hoyland after planning permission was granted.
They will be built adjacent to properties on Brooke Street and to the rear of Hoyland Nether Working Men’s Club.
Two of the flats will have one bedroom and the other two will have two bedrooms - five new car parking spaces will also be created.
The application had originally been submitted in December before being approved by the council’s planning board on May 28.
Work on the site must start within three years and there are a number of conditions with the approval.
A council document states: “No development shall take place until full foul and surface water drainage details, including a scheme to reduce surface water run off by at least 30 per cent and a programme of works for implementation, have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.”
