PRIDE Barnsley has been postponed for the second year running.
It’s hoped the event will be back in 2022 as the event’s organising committee didn’t want to put any ‘additional strain’ on public resources.
A spokesperson for Pride Barnsley said: “It may be on hold, but the ethos of togetherness will continue to push on.
“Our main priority must be the health and safety of the community, volunteers and participants, and to not put any additional strain on public resources that have worked very hard to keep us all safe during the pandemic.”
