JUST nine patients are being treated for coronavirus in Barnsley – the hospital has revealed.
This is the lowest figure since September when the hospital had no covid patients.
The hospital has also revealed that there are currently no patients on a ventilator as part of their coronavirus treatment which is the lowest since early September.
The figures show that coronavirus rates are falling across the borough, after peaking in early January before the third lockdown began.
In the past week just one person has been admitted to hospital for coronavirus treament.
