PUBGOERS can rejoice as more than 50 pubs across the borough are set to reopen their doors on Monday.

Landlords are gearing up for the long-awaited reopening of pubs having been forced to close for six months.

Pubs will only be allowed to open their beer gardens and venues that don’t have the facility to seat guests outside will have to wait to reopen in May.

Under current rules, visitors will be allowed to meet in groups of no more than six people in an outdoor setting.

Barnsley Campaign for Real Ale has compiled a list of pubs that are due to open on Monday.
