Pharmacies open throughout the long weekend

PHARMACIES and GP offices will open for limited hours during the bank holiday weekend.

Some pharmacies throughout Barnsley will be open for limited hours on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

Today (Good Friday), the opening times are as follows:

• Asda Pharmacy – 9am -6pm

• Boots (town centre) – 8.30am – 5.30pm

• Boots (Cortonwood) – 9am – 8pm

• Morrison's Pharmacy – 9am – 6pm

• Tesco Pharmacy – 6.30am – 10.30pm

• Superdrug – 8.30am – 5.30pm

On Saturday, all pharmacies are open their usual Saturday hours.

On Easter Sunday the opening times are:

• AM Clark – 10am – midday

• Silkstone Pharmacy – midday – 2pm

• Birdwell Pharmacy – midday – 3pm

• Rotherham Road Pharmacy – 1pm – 4pm

On Easter Monday the following will be open:

• ASDA Pharmacy – 9am - 6pm

• Boots (town centre) – 10am – 4pm

• Boots (Cortonwood) – 10am – 4pm

• Morrison's Pharmacy – 10am – 4pm

• Tesco Pharmacy – 9am – 6pm

For GP appointments, residents are asked to phone iHeart between 8am – 9.30am throughout the weekend.
