COMPANIES across the borough with more than ten employees will be able to offer rapid testing which could help identify asymptomatic carriers.
The tests can be taken at home and is part of the government's workplace testing programme which may allow companies to bring workers back to the office.
More than 600,000 businesses have signed up to the scheme across the country and the tests can rapidly detect the virus in 30 minutes.
The scheme is being backed by Enterprising Barnsley.
