HOUSEHOLDS and childcare support bubbles of kids attending school or college in Barnsley are able to access rapid lateral flow testing at the Metrodome.
With students back at school, those in childcare and support bubbles of primary, secondary and college students or staff can attend the testing site if they weren’t displaying symptoms.
The site is only for people without symptoms and is assisted testing, not a click and collect pick-up site.
The Metrodome site is open for pre-booked appointments from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8.30am to 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Alternatively, if you are in the group you can collect two packs of home testing kits from the Lower Courthouse car park, Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre and Summer Lane car park in Wombwell between 1.30pm and 7pm every day.
