TODAY marks the first day of the year where residents will be allowed to sit down for a drink or a picnic in parks or outdoor spaces.
The move comes after Prime Minister, Boris Johnson laid out a 'roadmap' as lockdown restrictions begin to ease during the pandemic.
As part of the first phase of the plan, schools reopened their doors and you will be allowed to meet with one other person outdoors.
You could meet in many places across the borough – from Locke Park, the grounds at Cannon Hall, or Worsbrough Mill.
