BARNSLEY Hospital has welcomed a new hospital chaplain.
Rev Fr Jude Okechukwu Lemeh did his training for the Roman Catholic priesthood in Nigeria.
He has worked in Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, and also London.
He started work as the Barnsley Hospital Roman Catholic hospital chaplain in December.
“It is a lovely place where love and service flow in abundance,” he said.
“I’m working with the chaplaincy team helping organise patient and staff visits when possible, spiritual services both online and offline, and support for volunteers.”
