OBSTRUCTIVE parking on a busy corner in Monk Bretton caused chaos as passing pedestrians were forced to walk on the road.
The Berneslai Homes van was parked at the corner of Lamb Lane at around 2pm on Wednesday last week.
A resident, who lives on Lamb Lane, said: “I was walking with my family down the street and couldn’t believe my eyes.
“It gave no room to walk on the pavement, even with younger children.
“Drivers come around the corner at high speed so it was extremely dangerous.”
A spokesperson for Berneslai Homes added: “All our staff are aware of their responsibilities while using fleet vehicles and representing us.
“This is highlighted in our vehicle use policy, driver’s handbook and frequent reminders.
“This matter has now been addressed.”
