POPULAR football sessions will be halted due to the effects of the national lockdown.
Reds in the Community (RITC), based at Oakwell Stadium, announced that from January 5, all RITC on-site activities will be postponed.
This includes Friday and Saturday 'pay and play' sessions.
A spokesperson for the club said: “Due to the government’s latest announcement there are changes in regards to Oakwell and its accessibility both for to Reds in the Community and the main football club.
“For those who are completing their studies with us on our Education programme, all students will be contacted by tutors about their new study format.”
The Reds superstore and main offices at Barnsley Football club will also close.
