A MAN who was wanted by police in connection to a reported assault has been found.
George Conway, 32, was wanted in connection with a reported assault and threats to kill, committed in Smithies last month.
He was wanted in an appeal by South Yorkshire Police yesterday (January 7).
A spokesperson for the force said: “George Conway, who was wanted in connection with a reported assault and threats to kill is now in police custody.
“Thanks to all those who helped with our appeal.”
