BARNSLEY Hospice is urging the public to ditch the booze to help raise funds for the charity.
During 'Dry January' many people pledge not to drink alcohol to raise cash for a chosen cause.
The hospice is urging people to complete the challenge this month in their honour to help keep the facility going after a tough year.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: “Could you support out hospice and raise vital funds by ditching the drink throughout January?”
