BARNSLEY College has delayed its reopening after the Christmas break to make preparations for on-site coronavirus testing.

Students who have exams will return on January 11, and all other students will return to campuses on January 18.

The college announced that coronavirus testing will be available for all staff and students from January 4, and have delayed term-time to accommodate this.

A spokesperson from Barnsley College said: “All students are being contacted with regards their return to face-to-face learning for the new term with the priority for on-campus teaching being vulnerable students or students in examination years, as per government guidance.”
