Mobile cameras could be set up in 'concern sites'

THIS week, mobile cameras could be set up at a number of speeding concern sites across the borough.

The South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership will be targeting areas flagged as a ‘community concern’ in a bid to tackle excessive speeding.

Areas of concern in Barnsley include Brierley Road in Grimethorpe, B6132 Carlton Road and Fitzwilliam Road in Swinton.

Further afield from Barnsley, roads that might have mobile cameras involve A618 Pleasley Road in Whiston and Balby Carr Bank in Doncaster.
