FIREFIGHTERS from Cudworth station were called after a low truck was reportedly in flames on Cundy Cross yesterday (November 1) - it marks the seventh deliberate fire reported to the team last week.
Crews arrived at 1.30am to tackle the blaze on Cherry’s Road, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
The fire was put out by 2.15am.
Earlier this week, firefighters across the borough were called other deliberate fires including a wheelie bin fire in Ward Green on Tuesday and another wheelie bin incident in Athersley South on Wednesday evening.
