POLICE feared for a man’s safety following reports of him falling into a Carlton pond yesterday, October 26.
On Monday at around 6.30pm, police attended a pond near Long Avenue after concerns were raised by residents.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “After conducting enquiries at the pond and in the local area, police identified and spoke to the man in question.
“It is believed the man, aged 30, had fallen into the pond earlier in the evening and suffered minor injuries.”
