THE Barnsley South Area Team are encouraging the public to snap photos of their food after fruit and vegetable boxes were distributed across the area.
The team arranged for 85 fruit and vegetable boxes to be distributed in Darfield, Hoyland Milton, Rockingham, and Wombwell.
The boxes were created by a local business and funding was provided to help those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Now the team are encouraging people to snap pictures of their home-cooked meals that use the ingredients in the boxes.
A spokesperson for the team said: “We secured funding to help support those in our area who have suffered financially as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Since they were introduced, the boxes have gone down really well.
“We are having some fabulous feedback and thought we would share photos of the delicious recipes you have created with some of the contents from the boxes.
“We would love to see other creations too using the fresh fruit and veg.”
