FIRE crews remain at the scene at a Stairfoot recycling plant after a fire broke out last night.
At 10.35pm last night (Sunday, August 16), crews were called to a waste fire in a building on Grange Lane.
Crews from Barnsley, Tankersley and Dearne stations attended to help extinguish the flames.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “Crews from Rotherham, Cudworth and Tankersley remain in attendance and are working to extinguish hot spots and make sure the fire is completely out.”
