A REFINISHING company has helped to raise people's spirits by paying homage the much-loved Barnsley fim, Kes.
The Kes-inspired van was created by Ross Walsh, 26, who works at Elite Refinishing in Mapplewell.
He said that the famous film served as inspiration to help give the van a much-needed upgrade.
“I thought it would be a good idea to go with a Barnsley theme which is why we ended up choosing Kes," said Ross. "Since it's been painted, the van has received quite a lot of attention.
“It was the first time that we’ve done anything like that – we’ve got vans that we’ve painted in different ways but nothing like this.
“It’s received the most recognition out of everything as well, some of the comments we’ve received on our social media pages are absolutely brilliant.”
