A BARNSLEY man has been charged with burglary after several incidents in and around the town.
Graham Newton, 41, of Vernon Road appeared in court on Wednesday, August 12, and was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft.
The charges relate to a burglary in the Lundwood area of Barnsley, and an attempted burglary and theft on Whitecedar Lane, also in Barnsley, on Monday, August 10.
Also this week, 34-year-old Keeley Jones, of High Stone View, Worsbrough Common appeared in court on Wednesday, August 12, also charged with burglary.
She appeared at Barnsley Magistrates court and was charged with one count of burglary and one count of being drunk and disorderly and is set to appear in court at a later date.
The charges relate to a burglary on Park Road, Barnsley on Monday , August 10.
