BARNSLEY’S famous market has extended its opening days.
The market has reopened on Mondays and Tuesdays following the easing of coronavirus restrictions.
When non-essential retail was given the green light to reopen in mid-June, the market initially opened Wednesday to Saturday between 8.30am and 3pm.
But those days have been extended to meet demand.
It means locals will be able to shop in the market six days a week.
Some traders will still operate at reduced hours check with your favourite traders for info on when they’re open.
