POLICE are appealing for information following a collision in Grimethorpe that caused damage to 25 vehicles and left a man with life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened at around 8.50pm on Thursday (July 23) when a black Vauxhall Corsa collided at speed with the roundabout on Park Springs Road.

The car then crashed into the carpark of a nearby warehouse and damaged 25 vehicles.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “The driver of the Corsa, an 18-year-old man, suffered life threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital via ambulance where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

“Police now want to hear from anyone who may have information about what happened.
