A LOCAL council team has put together a pack of activities to help keep children occupied during the summer holidays.
The South Area Team have developed a walking guide of Wombwell, along with a limited number of freebies which will be given out at multiple locations.
The scheme was created to help people to stay active and healthy during the six-week holidays.
A spokesperson for the team said: “Schools are now closed for the summer break and that would usually mean lots of family fun activities in various locations in Wombwell.
“Unfortunately due to the pandemic we won’t be able to host these events this summer, so to keep you occupied and out and about we have pulled together a walking guide of Wombwell.
The activity packs can be collected from Wombwell Cemetery Community Hub, Wombwell Park Pavilion, and Loxley Community Gardens from 11am - 1pm tomorrow (July 22).
