A CHARITY is appealing for donations to support those who are most vulnerable in the community.

Hallam FM Cash for Kids is raising money to help the families of those who are on zero hours contracts, facing reduced or completely cutback hours, or no access to sick pay.

The charity is also looking to help underprivileged families who have been impacted by the recent school closures due tot he coronavirus outbreak.

Grants from the appeal will also be made available to those that children who receive free school meals, over and above the Government’s voucher scheme.

School teachers, health professionals, social workers and small charitable groups will be able to apply for funds on behalf of the families they support. They can keep an eye on the Cash for Kids website for further details in the coming days.
