ST JOHN ambulance are seeking volunteers to join their team as a first aider.
The Oakwell Unit for St John ambulance cover numerous events such as Barnsley FC match days, local galas and events and staff are looking for volunteers to join the team.
Arran Mccallum, unit manager at the Oakwell unit said: “First aid is so useful and important. Knowing that to do in an emergency can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. We would love more volunteers to help us as a charity and assist us on events that we cover.
“No previous training is required and full uniform will be provided. We appreciate our volunteers and we would love more to come along and help us as a charity to go out and continue our lifesaving care we deliver to Barnsley and the surrounding area.”
