BIN collections will face disruption due to vehicles having a manufacturer inspection.
Residents who were due to have their bins emptied today and tomorrow have been affected, and the council will be working tomorrow and Monday to empty them.
In a statement issued on its website it said: “Unfortunately this inspection will have an impact on bin collections over the next few days. We’re really sorry about this and we’re doing all we can to reduce the impact on your service.
"Please continue to put your bins out as normal on your scheduled collection day. We might be delayed in collecting them, but we’ll be working both Saturday and Monday to get on top of this.
“We’re prioritising all grey collections and then will move into recycling and green collections. If your bins haven’t been collected after Monday please check our website before reporting a missed bin.”
