A BOY suffered facial injuries after he was assaulted on board a train.
On November 10 at 2.20pm, a 16-year-old boy was on board a train from Sheffield to Barnsley.
An altercation took place on board between the boy and a group of male passengers between Meadowhall and Chapeltown.
The boy was hit in the face and suffered facial injuries.
The British Transport Police are keen to speak to any one who witnessed the incident.
