THE market cafes will not be able to move into their new home next month due to delays with the design.
The market's food hall, which includes meat, fish and other food traders opened last month and the rest of the main market hall is due to open on November 2.
Complications with the design has meant the area where the cafes will be situated may not be ready for the opening.
Coun Roy Miller said: "We have held close discussions with our cafe traders to help work out the best way to accommodate them, as we have with all market traders throughout the redevelopment work.
"We've made fantastic progress with the market and we're looking forward to welcoming traders into the Market Hall on November 2."
