POLICE are appealing for information after a grassland fire saw six fire crews battle to save houses from going up in flames.
The fire happened in fields off Water Royd Drive at around 6.30pm last Wednesday and spread to nearby houses, causing a significant amount of damage.
Officers are investigating the possibility that the fire may have been started deliberately.
