POLICE were called to Stairfoot roundabout yesterday following reports of a man sat on a former railway bridge.
Police were called to Grange Lane just off Stairfoot roundabout at 2:30pm.
Traffic was chaotic around the area, as Grange Lane was closed and traffic was diverted onto Doncaster Road.
The man was safely talked down by officers at 6:30pm.
The road was reopened and clear by 7:30pm.
