A LOCAL pub is holding a charity night in memory of a young mum who died suddenly earlier this month.
Becky Evans, 35, died on May 5 leaving behind her partner Scott Boothroyd and her two young children - ten-year-old Evan and Freddie who’s six.
The Flying Dutchman in Jump is holding the event tomorrow night (Friday) from 6pm and is inviting everyone along to raise as much money as possible for Becky’s children and family and also to buy items for Barnsley Hospital.
Becky was a regular at the pub and a spokesman for the pub said that her death had come as a huge shock to all of her family, friends and the wider community.
The evening will start with three round bingo at 6pm @ £5 a sheet.
One line is a shot, two lines is a booby prize and full house is a cash prize!
There will also be a raffle at £2 a strip – anyone who has any unwanted gift items that they’d like to donate, they can take them along to the pub.
There will also be live music from Rob Johnson from 8:30pm.
