SCHOOLS across Barnsley are being encouraged to apply for a £1,000 grant for their breakfast clubs.
The Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Grants scheme has supported 15 schools across the town since 2020. The grants can be used by schools to invest in any aspect of their breakfast clubs, from equipment to food and learning materials.
A spokesperson from Oakwell Rise Primary Academy, who received a previous grant, said: “Thanks to the grant from Kellogg’s, our breakfast club has been able to open its doors each morning and support the pupils at our schools. The help we get goes a long way to ensuring that every child has the best possibility of starting their day right.”
