ORGANISERS of the massive community performance ‘One Breath’ – which was performed at Cannon Hall in 2000 – are trying to bring the cast back together for a new fundraising project.

The group will be showing a filming of the 150-person production in Cawthorne Village Hall on March 16 at 7.30pm to raise funds for the local church’s roof appeal.

Organisers are hoping to get as many of the original cast and crew as possible to attend the showing, and introduce a new generation to the work they did 24 years ago.

Director of the show, Sylvia Le Breton, said: “This was a mammoth production, supported by Yorkshire Arts, Awards For All and local fundraising.

“It involved 12-and-a-half tonnes of staging and scenery, over 400 costumes and a budget of £16,000.

“Locals know about what we’re doing now, but some of the cast have left so it’s hard to make contact.”

Cast, musicians and crew can contact Sylvia on 07543 072165, and tickets are available from Cawthorne Post Office.
