TWO further flood alerts have been put in place by the Environment Agency.
River levels are rising in the Upper River Don catchment, particularly around Oxspring and Hillsborough area of Sheffield, where flooding is possible.
River levels are also rising in the River Dearne catchment, particularly at Bolton Bridge and Darton.
The agent said: “We expect levels to begin to fall as rainfall subsides during the evening tonight.
“The B6098 which crosses the River Dearne is likely to see flooding, as well as washlands around Darton.
“We will continue to monitor levels closely.”
