CHRISTMAS came early for one Bolton-upon-Dearne filmmaker after she picked up her seventh accolade for her short festive film.

Rebecca Sills, 25, won the best children’s short film at the Mauritius International Film Festival for her work, The World According to Barry the Bauble.

The film has now won seven awards in international film festivals since it was first released in January this year.

It includes Rebecca’s dad, 55-year-old Dean Sills.

The father and daughter award-winning duo are always coming up with crazy ideas from a Western shot in their living room to a talking bauble on their Christmas tree.

Rebecca said: “We shot Barry the Bauble in a day and it was so much fun to do.

“Turning my dad into a talking bauble was a right laugh.
