BARNSLEY FC’s charity has teamed up with local area councils to improve the wellbeing and fitness of children over the summer period.
Reds in the Community’s summer sports van is set to return and will travel to local park and green spaces to bring free multi-sport activities to kids.
The sessions are open to all children and young people in Barnsley.
Head of Foundation at Reds in the Community, Kieron Campbell, said: “We are excited at the return of the summer sports van.
“We saw a fantastic level of engagement last year and are hoping to go even bigger this year.
“The programme gives us the opportunity to engage with children of all abilities and deliver high quality multi-sport activities throughout the Barnsley area giving them a chance to be active and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.”
